Josh Harman had two goals and two assists and the DeSales University defense held Delaware Valley to just five goals and scoreless for a span of almost 36 minutes leading to a 6-5 win in MAC Freedom action on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
DSU (6-6, 3-2 MAC Freedom) once again started slowly falling behind 3-1 4:35 into the second quarter. Freshman
Eric Magro pulled DSU to within a goal at the half and the Bulldogs scored three unanswered goals in the third quarter to take a 5-3 lead. A tally from senior
Justin Wilson at 9:33 of the fourth quarter made it a 6-3 game before the Aggies (6-6, 2-3 MAC Freedom) got two goals in a span of 47 seconds to get within a goal with 3:42 remaining.
The DeSales defense stood tall as DSU won the ensuing face-off, senior
Tyle Davis had a big caused turnover late, and sophomore
Matt Barry made one save late to preserve the victory.
Harman finished with two goals and two assists to lead the offense, while Wilson and Magro each had two goals. Freshman
