Dallas, PA (April 29, 2017) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse finished the regular season falling at Misercordia University, 16-2, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs finish the regular season at 7-7 overall and 4-3 in the MAC Freedom. DSU will be the #3 seed in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament next week traveling to Eastern University for the semifinals with game time set for 4:00 pm.
Misericordia (11-3, 7-0 MAC Freedom) scored the first two goals of the game before the Bulldogs got on the board on a goal from juniorÂ
Tommy Friedman. The Cougars reclaimed the two-goal lead with just under two minutes to play in the first quarter igniting 14 straight goals that put the game out of reach as DeSales did not score again until the 4:59 mark of the fourth quarter.
MU out-shot DeSales, 50-25, and won 13-of-19 face-offs in the win.
