Center Valley, PA (April 29, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis team saw its 16-match win streak come to an end on Saturday afternoon falling to Wilkes University, 9-0, in the MAC Freedom regular season finale for both teams.

The Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 16-2 overall record and a 5-1 mark in the MAC Freedom. DSU will be the #2 seed in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament hosting third seeded Eastern University on Wednesday in the semfinals with match start time to be announced.

DSU's win streak was the longest in team history, six games more than the previous best of 10-straight set during the 2005 season.
