Doylestown, PA (April 5, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis team continued its winning ways extending its school-record win streak to 12-straight with a 7-2 win over Delaware Valley University in a MAC Freedom Match on Wednesday afternoon.

Lindsay Driscoll led things off with an 8-5 win at the No. 1 doubles position.  The freshman tandem ofÂ
Sarah Chan andÂ
Amber Achenbach earned an 8-5 win in the No. 2 spot and seniorÂ
Melissa Tucker teamed with freshmanÂ
Kelsey Kazlauskas to win 8-6 in the No. 3 position.
In singles play Lightner earned her first-ever win at the No. 1 spot, 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) and senior
Shannon O'Malley won 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot.  Tucker and Chan rounded out the DSU winners with Tucker earning a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 4 spot and Chan winning 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 5 hole.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to be back in action tomorrow when they host Bryn Athyn College in a non-conference match beginning at 3:00 pm.
