Center Valley, PA (April 8, 2017) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team dropped a MAC Freedom game to Eastern University, 21-7, on Saturday afternoon.
Eastern (2-8, 1-1 MAC Freedom) jumped out early scoring the first three goals before DSU (4-8, 0-2 MAC Freedom) got on the board with two of the next three to pull within two goals (4-2). Â The Eagles then scored the next six goals to take a 10-2 lead and led 12-4 at the half. Â The Bulldogs played much better in the second-half, winning 6-of-13 draw controls after losing 12-of-17 in the first half but were out-shot 36-10 for the game and had 23 turnovers for the game.

Sydney Kane with two goals and an assist, juniorÂ
Kelly Meade with two goals, and freshmanÂ
Katie Kingsland with two goals in the loss.  JuniorÂ
Danielle Burke had one goal and one assist and juniorÂ
Sydney Mursko finished with two assists.

Katarina Polyviou each had two ground balls, while Meade led the way with three draw controls.  Burke and O'Malley had a team-high two caused turnovers each. FreshmanÂ
Lori King finished with nine saves in goal.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday when they host Manhattanville College in a MAC Freedom game beginning at 5:00 pm.
