Kingston, PA (May 6, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a 5-0 loss to Wilkes University in the MAC Freedom Championship match on Saturday evening.

The Bulldogs dropped all three doubles matches by a score of 8-0 and lost the #1 and #2 singles matches, 6-0, 6-0 to post the final tally.  Wilkes (23-0) has now won 11-straight MAC Freedom Championships.

DSU finishes the year with a school-record 17 wins and a 17-3 overall record.  The Bulldogs broke the record for most consecutive wins with 16-straight during the season and advanced into the MAC Freedom Championship match for just the fourth time in team history.
