Sean Tunney (Clondalkin, Ireland) and junior
Justin Habick (Effort, PA) leading the Bulldogs to their fifth straight win, 2-0, over Clarks Summit University in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (5-1) out-shot the Defenders (4-4), 18-1, in the game and had an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks. Â Senior
Dan Sulpizio (Philadelphia, PA) needed to make just one save to record his third shutout of the season and the 12th of his career to move into fourth place all-time.
Tunney scored the first goal 13:36 into the game heading home a corner kick feed from senior
Charlie Jerry (Emmaus, PA). Â It was Tunney's third goal of the season and gave DSU a 1-0 lead into the half.
Habick netted the insurance tally at 71:26 knocking in a deflected shot from senior
Joey Malvestuto (Philadelphia, PA) to ice the win.
The Bulldogs will put their five-game winning streak on the line on Wednesday when they host local rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:00 pm.
