Center Valley, PA (September 19, 2017) - The DeSales University volleyball improved to 2-0 in the MAC Freedom recording 15 service aces en route to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-6) win over Delaware Valley University on Tuesday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs (8-3, 2-0 MAC Freedom) hit .440 for the match, recorded 15 aces, and totaled 40 kills.
Sophomore
Cristal Fernandez (Whitehall, PA) led the ace parade with four, while sophomore
Morghan Shoemaker (Allentown, PA) had three and senior
Bernadette Wood (Sinking Spring, PA) also had three.
Shoemaker also led the team with 11 kills and hit .444, while junior
Gabby Savite` (Hackettstown, NJ) had 10 kills and hit .421. Â Freshman
Julia Bradford (Mertztown, PA) finished with 31 assists and two aces and junior
Natalie Gray (Aston, PA) led the defense with 12 digs.
The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when they take on Muhlenberg College and Dickinson College on Saturday.
