PK in Second OT Lifts DeSales to Seventh Straight Win; 1-0 over Lancaster Bible

Center Valley, PA (September 23, 2017) - Junior Justin Habick (Effort, PA) scored on a PK just 58 into the second overtime lifting the DeSales University men's soccer team to its seventh straight win and past Lancaster Bible College, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs (7-1) have now allowed just one goal (a PK late in the win over Widener) in its last seven games and have recorded four straight shutouts with today's win.  DSU has not allowed a goal in the last 389:52.  The four straight consecutive shutouts ties the record set four other times and the seven straight wins is now three shy of the all-time record of 10.

The PK by Habick was his second of the year and his team-leading fourth goal of the season.

Senior Dan Sulpizio (Philadelphia, PA) has been terrific in goal all season and was once again on Saturday making eight saves and recording his own personal fifth shutout on the year.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Albright College for a non-conference tilt beginning at 4:00 pm.
