Media, PA (September 26, 2017) - The DeSales University men's tennis team kept its unbeaten Fall alive squeezing out a 5-4 win at PSU-Brandywine on Tuesday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU managed just one point in doubles play as senior
Brian Hayhurst (Millville, NJ) teamed with freshman
Dominic Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) to win, 8-0.
Singles
The Bulldogs made up for the small 2-1 deficit after doubles play to earn wins at No. 1, 4, 5, and 6 singles to earn the team victory. Â Freshman
Danny Lynn (Bethlehem, PA) won at the No. 1 spot, 6-0, 7-6 (7-1), sophomore
Ahmad Kanan (Allentown, PA) won at the No. 4 spot, 6-0, 6-0, junior
Josh Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) won 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 5 spot, and D. Ferraro was a dual winner, earning a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 6 position.
The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when a few players travel to the ITA Southeast Regional Championships at the University of Mary Washington.
