Reading, PA (October 16, 2018) - The DeSales University women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at Alvernia University in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs started strong winning two of the three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead. FreshmanÂ
Kirsten Kosa teamed with sophomoreÂ
Alex Rodier to win 8-2 at No. 2 doubles and juniorÂ
Sarah Chan paired with freshmanÂ
Bailey Greco to win 8-4 in the No. 3 slot.
Alvernia rallied and took five of the six singles matches to close out the win. DSU's lone singles win came at No. 4 flight with Chan winning, 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (11-9).
The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when they close out the Fall season at the MAC Individual Tournament.
