Center Valley, PA (October 27, 2018) - The DeSales University volleyball team wrapped up its regular season with two convincing 3-0 wins over Neumann University and regionally ranked Stockton University on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

• Final Score: DeSales - 3, Neumann - 0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-15); DeSales - 3, Stockton - 0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-20)
• Records: DeSales (22-8 overall); Neumann (14-15 overall); Stockton (26-7)

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs hit .340 and had a 64% side out percentage in winning in straight sets over Neumann in the first match of the day.
• DSU had seven team blocks and held NU to just .100 hitting for the match.
• In the second match, DSU had an impressive straight set win over the #4 ranked team in the East Region.
• DeSales hit .356 for the match and never trailed in the second set in the win.
• DSU held Stockton to just .113 hitting percentage for the match.

Top Bulldog Performers

• In the Neumann match, sophomore Noel Kelly finished with 13 kills and hit .357, while senior Gabby Savite` had 12 kills and 11 digs.
• Junior Morghan Shoemaker finished with eight kills, hit .636 and had 3 blocks.
• Freshman Audrey Wolfe totaled 39 assists and senior Taylor Antoniewicz added four blocks.
• In the Stockton match, Kelly again led the way with 12 kills and hit .522.
• Sophomore Grace Merritt finished with 10 kills and hit .714, while Shoemaker added six blocks.
• Senior Natalie Gray was terrific on defense totaling 20 digs and Wolfe added 33 assists.

For the Foes

• Neumann was led by Rachael Hoffman with eight kills.
• Stockton got 10 kills from Jocelyn Holobetz in the loss.
