Glenside, PA (October 2, 2018) - The DeSales University women's tennis team won its straight match defeating Arcadia University, 7-2, in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon.

DSU opened with a 2-1 lead after doubles play as sophomore Alex Rodier and freshman Kirsten Kosa teamed to win 8-0 at the #2 flight and sophomore Sarah Chan paired with freshman Bailey Greco to win 8-3 in the #3 flight.

The Bulldogs then won five of the six singles matches as junior Amber Achenbach won 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 1 flight.  Kosa was a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) winner in the #2 flight and Rodier won 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 3 slot.

Freshman Natalie Clarke was a 7-5, 6-3 winner in the No. 5 hole and Greco won 8-4 in the sixth flight.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday, October 16th at Alvernia University.
