Leandra Sterner scored her 1,000th career point and the DeSales University women's basketball team broke one team record and tied another in a 111-23 win over Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon in first game of the Morgan Stanley (Easton Office) Tournament.

How it Happened
- The Falcons led 5-4 early before DeSales used a 48-0 run to take a 52-5 lead and led 64-10 at the half.
- The Bulldogs tied the record for most points scored in a game with 111, also achieved during the 1995 season vs. Immaculata and back in 1981 vs. Manor Junior College.
- DeSales also broke the record for largest margin of victory, winning by 88 points, surpassing the old mark of 83 points set in 1995 in a win over Rosemont College.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Sterner became the 23rd player in team history with 1,000 career points, scoring 21 tallies on 10-of-14 shooting in just 14+ minutes of play.
- Sophomore Isabel Caruso scored in double digits for the second straight game with 14 points and added seven rebounds and five steals.
- Junior Molly Jansco and senior Morgan Birmelin each had 10 points, while Birmelin added eight assists and four steals.
- Freshman Emma Stanfield had eight assists and eight steals and sophomore Melissa Schoen came off the bench to score a career-high eight points.
- Sophomore Jillian Martin, senior Bridget Walsh, and Caruso all had a team-best seven rebounds.
- All 15 players that got into the game scored.

- Joana Cainglet had a team-high six points.
