Fayetteville, NC (February 18, 2018) - The DeSales University baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, earning a 5-4 come from behind win over #13 Keystone College in the final game of its weekend trip to Methodist College over the weekend.
The Bulldogs finish its trip with a 2-1 record. Senior
Konner Schneider (Bedminster, NJ) earned the win in relief pitching 2 1/3 scoreless frames as he finishes the trip with one win and one save for the Bulldogs.

Andrew Schuler (Collegeville, PA) pitched well in the start, lasting six innings allowing eight hits and three runs, striking out five.

Randal Pacchioli (Catasauqua, PA) had two hits off the bench, including a double and junior
Nick White (The Woodlands, TX) had two RBIs. Juniors
Charlie Barebo (Emmaus, PA) and
Preston Amato (Center Valley, PA) also each had RBIs.
After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, the Bulldogs scored twice in the bottom of the second inning after a leadoff double from Pacchioli and junior
Tommy Epsaro (Bethlehem, PA) was hit by a pitch, White knocked them both in with a two-out RBI single.
Freshman
Sean Hanczaryk (Frenchtown, NJ) and Amato had back-to-back doubles in the fifth giving DSU a 3-2 lead and after the Giants scored once each in the sixth and seventh, DeSales rallied in the bottom of the seventh as White reached on an error and scored two batters later on a double from Barebo. Barebo scored a few batters later on a wild pitch to provide the winning run.
The Bulldogs are back in action next weekend when they travel to Glenville, WV to take on Oneonta in a three-game weekend set on Saturday and Sunday.
