Hilton Head, SC (March 5, 2018) - The DeSales University men's tennis team fell just short in its spring trip opener falling to Albion College, 5-4, on Monday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (4-1) won one doubles match to open the match as sophomore
Jake McKinney (Jarrettsville, MD) teamed with senior
Brian Hayhurst (Millville, NJ) teamed to win 8-4 at the No. 3 spot.
DSU then took singles wins at the No. 1, 5, and 6 spot falling just short. Freshman
Danny Lynn (Bethlehem, PA) earned the win at the No. 1 spot, 4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-4), McKinney was a winner in the No. position, 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-7), and junior
Austin Wesch (Massapequa, NY) earned a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 3 single flight.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they take on Heidelberg University.
