Hilton Head, SC (March 8, 2018) - The DeSales University men's tennis team wrapped up its spring trip to Hilton Head with a 7-2 win over Defiance College on Thursday evening.

The Bulldogs (6-2) swept all three doubles matches to start and earned wins at No. 1, 4, 5, and 6 singles.

In doubles freshman Danny Lynn (Bethlehem, PA) teamed with junior Jorey Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) to win 9-7 at the No. 1 spot, freshman Dominic Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) teamed with his junior brother Josh Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) to win 9-8 (12-10) at the No. 2 spot, and senior Brian Hayhurst (Millville, NJ) teamed with sophomore Jake McKinney (Jarrettsville, MD) at the No. 3 spot to win 8-2.

Lynn was also a winner at No. 1 singles, 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8), sophomore Ben Greb (Mifflinburg, PA) won 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) at the No. 4 spot, junior Austin Wesch (Massapequa, NY) won 6-0 6-1 at the No. 5 spot, and sophomore Ahmad Kanan (Allentown, PA) won easily in the No. 6 flight, 6-1, 6-1.

The Bulldogs return home and back to action on Monday, March 24th vs. Arcadia University.
