Bethlehem, PA (September 19, 2018) - The DeSales University women's tennis team opened up its 2018-19 season with a 9-0 loss at local rival Moravian College on Wednesday afternoon.

DSU dropped all three doubles matches to open the match with sophomore Sarah Chan and freshman Annie Rakos coming closest to earning a win at the #3 position falling by an 8-6 score.

In singles junior Amber Achenbach lost a tough first set in the #3 position, 6-4, before dropping the second set, 6-1.

DeSales returns to action on Friday when they travel to Cedar Crest College beginning at 3:30 pm.
