Center Valley, PA (September 22, 2018) - The DeSales University women's tennis team blanked Penn State Brandywine, 9-0, in non-conference action on Saturday morning.

PSU-Brandywine only had four players able to play giving the Bulldogs walkover wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 5/6 singles.

Juniors Amber Achenbach and Sarah Lightner teamed up to win 8-1 at No. 1 doubles, while a pair of freshman Annie Rakos and Bailey Greco won 8-0 in No. 2 doubles.

Achenbach was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at No. 1 singles, freshman Kirsten Kosa won 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 2 position, sophomore Alex Rodier was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at the No. 3 spot, and sophomore Sarah Chan won 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 4 position.

The Bulldogs return to action on Monday when they host Albright College beginning at 3:30 pm.
