Center Valley, PA (September 26, 2018) - The DeSales University volleyball team committed just six hitting errors and hit .411 to roll past Manhattanville College, 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-14), in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.

How it Happened
- The first set was tied at 11 before senior Natalie Gray reeled off 10 straight points off her serve that included three aces and six Bulldog kills.
- DSU led 8-7 in the second set when again Gray reeled off four straight points to make it 12-7 that included another ace, a kill and a block from junior Morghan Shoemaker.
- It was more of the same in the third set as the Bulldogs did not commit a hitting error and Gray ran off four straight points with DSU leading 11-5 to make it 15-5 and never looked back from there.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Shoemaker had 10 kills, hit .588 and added four blocks to become the 7th player in team history with 200 career total blocks.
- Senior Gabby Savite` finished with 11 kills and 13 digs, hitting .346 for the match.
- Sophomores Noel Kelly (10 kills, .588%) and Grace Merritt (9 kills, .421%) also contributed on the attack.
- Freshman Audrey Wolfe dished out 34 assists, while Gray finished with five aces and 10 digs.
For the Foes
- Monica Lopez was outstanding in the back row finishing with 18 digs.
- Austen Brauer totaled nine kills and hit .364.
Inside the Box Score
- DSU hit .411 as a team and committed just six hitting errors as compared to 45 kills.
- The Bulldogs side out 63% for the match.
