Chester, PA (September 8, 2018) - The DeSales University men's soccer team suffered a 3-2 loss at Widener University in non-conference action on Saturday evening.

How It Happened

• The Bulldogs took an early 1-0 as junior Keegan Coffield scored in the 7th minute before Widener tied the score in the 40th minute and took a 2-1 lead at the half with a goal just 45 seconds before the halftime horn.
• Senior Zach Reichard tied the game at two at 68:10 but Widener was able to get the game-winner with just 1:43 remaining in regulation.

• Coffield and Reichard each scored goals in the loss.
• Senior Michael Kirby earned assists on both goals in the win, his 10th and 11th helpers of his career.
• Freshman TJ Corcoran made four saves in the loss.
