Sam Riccardi headed home her first goal of the season with just four seconds left in the second OT lifting the DeSales University women's soccer team past Montclair State University, 2-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute of the game when freshman Katie Padgett knocked home the rebound of a shot off the post from fellow freshman Meghan Foley.
- The one goal lead remained into the 71st minute when the Red Hawks equaled the score as the game headed into overtime deadlocked at one.
- MSU had the only two shots in the first OT period but neither team scored sending the game to a second extra session.
- With about 30 seconds left in the game and the second OT, freshman Sam Monteforte created a corner kick.
- Sophomore Meghan Corbran hustled over to take the corner and sent a perfect pass into the box where Riccardi was waiting heading the ball inside the near post with just four seconds left in the game for the game-winner.

- The goal was Riccardi's first of the season, while Padgett netted her fourth.
- Corbran and Foley both had the second assist each of the season.
- Junior Lia Gaccione had four saves in the win.
