Four Second-Half Goals Lead Women's Soccer past Delaware Valley, 4-0

Center Valley, PA (October 5, 2019) - The DeSales University women's soccer team broke up a scoreless game at the half with four second-half goals en route to a 4-0 win over Delaware Valley University opening up MAC Freedom play on Saturday afternoon.

  • The Bulldogs tie the record for most consecutive wins, earning their seventh straight win.  DSU will look to break the record on Wednesday when they travel to Rutgers-Camden.
How it Happened
  • DSU dominated possession the entire game but just couldn't get a ball into the back of the net in the opening half.
  • DeSales needed just 52 seconds in the second-half to get on the scoreboard as junior Gabby Rojas broke the tie with a goal from about 35 yards out that sailed over the GK's head and into the net.
  • Less than two minutes later the Bulldogs had their insurance goal as freshman Tess Rodgers scored and DSU added two more later in the half.
