Hoboken, NJ (October 2, 2019) - The DeSales University volleyball team fell to MAC Freedom newcomer, Stevens, 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-18) in conference action on Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs had control of each of the first two sets holding leads of 9-4 and 12-7 before the Ducks rallied winning six straight points down 17-15 to take a 21-17 lead and win the first set. In the second set DeSales dominated at the start holding a 16-7 lead before Stevens won eight of the next nine points to pull within 17-15. DSU still led 20-17 late in the set before six straight points again from the Ducks made it 23-20 and the Bulldogs were unable to recover losing the second and ultimately the third set.

The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when they travel to Marymount University for three matches on Friday and Saturday.
