Hoboken, NJ (October 23, 2019) - The DeSales University women's soccer team saw its 11-game unbeaten streak come to an end falling at #18 Stevens Institute of Technology, 2-1, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

  • The Ducks got on the board in the 11th minute when Gianna Nitti scored from 30 yards out on a shot off the crossbar.
  • The 1-0 score stood until the 55th minute when Stevens took a 2-0 lead.
  • DeSales got back within one in the 71st minute when sophomore Meghan Corbran scored off an assist from senior Claire Basseti but was unable to get the tying marker.
