Lindsay Goeller won her 37th career game making her the all-time leader in wins in the DeSales University field hockey team's 3-2 win over Wilkes University in MAC Freedom action on Friday evening.

- Records: DeSales (5-7, 1-1 MAC Freedom); Wilkes (8-5, 1-1 MAC Freedom)
- Goeller moves into first place all-time with 37 career wins, one ahead of Jayne (Longacre) Landis who won 36 games in her four years at the helm.
- The win is also DSU's first-ever over Wilkes on the road having entered tonight's game 0-8 all-time at Wilkes.
How it Happened
- DSU took a 1-0 lead just 4:39 into the game when McGrath scored the first of three pushing home a loose ball deep in the circle.
- The Colonels needed just under four minutes to the game at one that lasted thru the first quarter.
- McGrath then gave DeSales the lead for good 5:53 into the second quarter scoring from just inside the circle after a corner had come up short as the Bulldogs led 2-1 at the half.
- The Bulldogs got an important insurance goal at 38:34 when McGarth backhanded a saved rebound off a shot on the corner feed.
- Wilkes made it interesting late scoring with 21 seconds left but were unable to threaten on the following re-start as DeSales took home the important conference win.

- McGarth tallied her eighth, ninth, and 10th goals of the season in the win.
- Senior Katarina Polyviou made six saves in goal.
For the Foes
- Wilkes got goals from Lauren Baldwin and Zoe Stepanski in the loss.
- Vanessa Damgaard made five saves in goal.

- DeSales had a 15-9 advantage in shots and a slim 5-4 advantage in penalty corners for the game.
