Annville, PA (November 17, 2019) - The 13th ranked DeSales University women's basketball team rolled past Lebanon Valley College, 79-41, to win the Rinso Marquette Tournament title at LVC on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs scored the first 12 points of the game and led 19-7 after the first quarter to take control early and never really looked back from there.
• The lead was 44-17 at the halftime break and swelled to as many as 43 points in the fourth quarter.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Sophomore Rylie Rittenhouse and senior Molly Jansco led a balanced scoring attack with 13 points each.
• Both were named to the All-Tournament Team and Rittenhouse earned Most Valuable Player honors.
• Junior Isabel Caruso totaled 12 points and sophomore Averi Jordan was also very efficient scoring 10 points.
• Sophomore Samathan Shinkus had nine points and five assists and freshman Megan Bealer finished with eight points and six rebounds in the win.

For the Foes

• Emily Mealey had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Inside the Box Score

• DSU out-scored LVC, 54-16, in the paint and saw its bench out-score LVC's, 32-1.
• The Bulldogs scored 35 points off of 26 Flying Dutchmen turnovers.
