Men's Lacrosse Wins Ninth Straight; Knocks off Stockton, 14-10

Center Valley, PA (March 27, 2019) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team set a school-record for wins in a season winnings its ninth straight game, 14-10, over Stockton University in the final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened
  • After scoring eight seconds into the game to take a 1-0 lead, DSU fell behind 2-1 following two straight Osprey goals.
  • That was the last lead Stockton had as DeSales closed the quarter with two goals, including the second with just three seconds left to take a 3-2 lead.
  • The two teams traded goals in the second quarter as Stockton scored with 1.8 seconds left before the half to trail by just one, 5-4, entering the locker rooms.
  • It was all Bulldogs in the second-half as they out-scored the Ospreys, 4-2 in the third quarter to take a 9-6 lead and led by at least four goals the entire fourth quarter before posting the final tally.

  • Luc Swedlund led all scorers with seven goals.
