Bethlehem, PA (March 27, 2019) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team saw its five-game win streak come to an end with a 22-11 loss at Moravian College in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

The Basics

• Final Score: Moravian - 22, DeSales - 11
• Records: DeSales (5-4); Moravian (6-2)
• The five-game win streak was a school-record for the Bulldogs.

How it Happened

• After falling behind 5-1, DeSales rallied back to get within 6-4 midway thru the first-half.
• The Greyhounds however ended the half strong scoring 10 of the last 12 goals to take a 16-6 lead at the break.
• DSU scored three of the first four goals in the second-half but were unable to get any closer in the loss.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Freshman Azlin Myers had five goals to lead DSU.
• Sophomore Katie Stordy once again stuffed the stat sheet with two goals, two assists, five ground balls and seven draw controls.
• Sophomore Julia Astram had three goals and freshman Karlie Deeck had one goal.

For the Foes

• Meaghan McMullan had seven goals and one assist.
• Liz Bill finished with six goals.

Inside the Box Score

• Moravian out-shot DeSales, 40-20, for the game.
• DeSales out-hustled the Greyhounds with a 17-16 edge in ground balls.
• MC won 25-of-25 draw controls.
