Center Valley, PA (March 30, 2019) - The DeSales University women's tennis team opened up the MAC Freedom schedule with an 8-1 win over Eastern University on Saturday afternoon.

Doubles
DSU took a 2-1 lead after doubles play as freshman Kirsten Kosa and sophomore Alex Rodier and freshman Annie Rakos and senior Sarah Chan each teamed to win 8-0 at the No. 2 and 3 doubles position.

Singles
Junior Amber Achenbach earned an impressive win over Emma Paugh, 7-5, 6-1, at the No. 1 singles position and was joined by Kosa winning 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 2 spot, Rodier 6-1, 6-1, at the No. 3 spot, and Rakos with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at the No. 4 flight.  Chan won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 5 spot and freshman Bailey Greco won 6-0, 6-0, at the No. 6 flight.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they host Albright College beginning at 3:30 pm.
