Doylestown, PA (April 6, 2019) - The DeSales University women's tennis team stayed unbeaten in MAC Freedom play with a 9-0 win over Delaware Valley University on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU swept all three doubles matches, losing just five total games. Junior
Amber Achenbach and junior
Kelsey Kazlauskas won 8-1 in the No. 1 flight, freshman
Kirsten Kosa and sophomore
Alex Rodier earned an 8-3 win in the No. 2 flight, and senior
Sarah Chan teamed with freshman
Annie Rakos for an 8-1 win.
Singles
Achenbach was a 7-5, 6-2 winner at the No. 1 spot, Kosa won 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 2 flight, and Rodier won 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) in the No. 3 slot. Rakos won 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 4 flight, Chan earned a 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 decision in the No. 5 slot, and freshman
Bailey Greco was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in the No. 6 hole.
DeSales is back in action on Wednesday when they travel to King's College for another MAC Freedom contest beginning at 3:30 pm.
