Clermont, FL (March 7, 2019) - The DeSales University softball team dropped two games, snapping a five-game winning streak, during its spring trip to Floriday on Thursday afternoon.
Game One (L/3-4 vs. Alvernia)
The Bulldogs fell behind early as the Golden Knights scored once in the first and three times in the third to grab a 4-0 lead. DSU fought back with two runs in the fifth and got another in the bottom of the seventh inning before falling one run short.

Aubree Fritzinger had three hits and scored twice and sophomoreÂ
Ciarrah Holmqvist had two hits and two RBIs in the loss.

Julia Testagrose pitched well in relief, tossing three scoreless innings allowing just two hits and striking out three.
Game Two (L/1-4 vs. PSU-Berks)
PSU-Berks got two runs in both the second and third innings and the Bulldogs were only managed four hits and one run in the second game of the day.
Fritzinger had another hit and an RBI in the loss. Testagrose pitched well yet again tossing 1 1/3 scoreless innings.
