Center Valley, PA (April 16, 2019) - The DeSales University baseball team saw its five-game win streak come to an end with a 7-5 loss to Rutgers-Camden in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Weiland Park.
Camden led 2-0 into the bottom of the fourth inning when DSU exploded for all five of its runs. SophomoreÂ
Sean Hanczaryk hit a three-run home run in the inning.
Rutgers got two runs back in the fifth and tied the game in the seventh.
The game remained tied at five entering the ninth when the Scarlet Raptors took advantage of three walks to score two runs and take a 7-5 lead and DSU was unable to answer in the bottom half.

Felix Martinez Jr. took the loss allowing two runs over 1 2/3 innings pitched. SeniorÂ
Nick White had two more hits and Hanczaryk knocked in three runs in the loss.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow when they travel to Eastern University for the first of three with the Eagles beginning at 3:30 pm.
