Center Valley, PA (April 17, 2019) - The DeSales University women's tennis team started a new winning streak on Wednesday afternoon defeating Immaculata University, 5-4, in non-conference action.
Doubles
The Bulldogs fell behind early as IU took two of three doubles matches to stake claim to a 2-1 lead. FreshmanÂ

Sarah Chan earned DSU's lone doubles point with an 8-3 win in the No. 3 flight.
Singles
DeSales dominated the final four flights in singles action to earn the narrow one-point win. FreshmanÂ
Kirsten Kosa was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at the No. 3 spot, her eighth straight singles win and sophomoreÂ
Alex Rodier won 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 4 flight. Chan and Rakos each earned another point for the Bulldogs as Rakos won 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 5 spot and Chan was a 6-4, 6-2 winner in the No. 6 slot.
The Bulldogs are back to action tomorrow when they host FDU-Florham beginning at 3:30 pm.
