Bethlehem, PA (April 24, 2019) - The DeSales University baseball team scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back defeating local rival Moravian College, 12-3, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs scored six times in the first thanks in part to a few Greyhound errors to take a 6-1 lead.
It was a 6-2 game into the eighth inning when DSU put it away scoring four times in the eighth and twice more in the ninth to post the final tally.
Nine different players had hits including junior 
Alex Condello going 3-for-4.  Senior 
Charlie Barebo, junior 
Frank Licari, and senior 
Aaron Fritz all had two hits with Licari, Fritz, and junior 
Michael White all driving in two runs.
Junior 
John Poccia improved to 8-1 on the season pitching seven strong innings allowing just two runs.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow when they host Stevenson University beginning at 6:00 pm at Weiland Park.
