Center Valley, PA (April 25, 2019) - The DeSales University baseball team fell to Stevenson University, 9-4, in non-conference action on Thursday evening at Weiland Park.
DSU took a 2-0 lead in the first inning scoring runs on a wild pitch and an error by the Mustangs but Stevenson got them both back in the top of the second inning.
Stevenson then scored once in the third and twice more in the fourth to take a 5-2 lead.
The Bulldogs got a run back in the fifth on an RBI single from seniorÂ
Preston Amato.
The two teams traded runs in the eighth inning but the Mustangs put the game away in the top of the ninth hitting a three-run home run to push the lead up to five runs and DeSales was unable to recover.

Max Antos took the loss allowing three runs over two innings pitched.

Sean Hanczaryk all had two hits to lead the offense.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow when they travel to Manhattanville College for game one of the three-game weekend set beginning at 3:30 pm.
