Purchase, NY (April 24, 2019) - The DeSales University men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision at Manhattanville College in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday afternoon.

The win moves DeSales to 8-7 overall and 3-3 in the MAC Freedom with one match to play at Misericordia University.  DSU needs a win on Saturday to give themselves a chance at a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason.  A win and an FDU-Florham win over King's would give DSU the #4 seed in the postseason tournament.

DSU earned its two points on Wednesday in singles action as freshman Nolan Beck won 6-1, 7-5 in the No. 5 spot and junior Ahmad Kanan won 8-6 in the No. 6 flight.  It was Beck's fourth straight win in singles action.

The Bulldogs will travel to Misericordia University on Saturday with the match time set for 1:00 pm.
