Center Valley, PA (April 24, 2019) - The DeSales University scored five runs late in game one to earn a doubleheader split with William Paterson University in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon at McGettigan Park.
Game One (W/5-4)
DSU trailed 4-0 thru four and a half innings before coming alive at the plate scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth and three more in the bottom of the sixth to earn the win.

Erin Redden knocked in the two runs in the fifth and seniorÂ
Carly Benjamin and Fritzinger had big hits in the three-run sixth.
FreshmanÂ
Jill Harrison earned the win in the circle tossing three strong innings allowing one run. Fritzinger finished with three hits and two RBIs, while sophomoreÂ
Ciarrah Holmqvist and Benjamin each had two hits.
Game Two (L/3-10)
Paterson was in control in game two the entire way taking a 7-0 lead in the top of the sixth inning and never looked back.
DeSales got all three of its runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. SeniorÂ

Hallie Muffley all had two hits in game two.
The Bulldogs wrap-up the regular season on Saturday when they head to Manhattanville College for a MAC Freedom doubleheader beginning at 2:00 pm.
