Purchase, NY (April 27, 2019) - The DeSales University softball team dropped both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader at Manhattanville College on Saturday afternoon.
Game One (L/0-10)
The Valiants took a 6-0 lead in the second inning with all six runs coming in that inning and added four more in the fourth to post the final tally.

Julia Testagrose took the loss allowing eight runs over four innings. SophomoreÂ
Hallie Muffley had DSU's lone hit.
Game Two (L2/10)
DSU led 1-0 in the top of the first inning before Manhattanville scored four times in the bottom half of the inning and scored in five of the six innings to post the final 10-2 tally.
JuniorÂ
Erin Redden and Muffley each had two hits to lead a nine-hit attack in game two.
The Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 16-22 overall record and an 8-6 mark in the MAC Freedom to earn the #4 seed in next weekend's MAC Freedom postseason tournament. DSU will take on these same Valiants in the first game of the double elimination tournament on Friday at Wilkes University where the entire tournament will take place.
