Dallas, PA (April 27, 2019) - The DeSales University women's tennis team finished up the regular season with a 7-2 win over Misericordia University on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs are now 14-4 and 6-1 in the MAC Freedom. DSU will be the #2 seed in next week's MAC Freedom postseason tournament and will host FDU-Florham in the semifinals on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 pm. It will be DeSales' eighth playoff appearance with DSU posting a 4-6 all-time record in its previous seven appearances.
Doubles
DSU took a 2-1 lead winning at the No. 1 and 2 doubles positions. JuniorsÂ

Kelsey Kazlauskas earned an 8-3 win in the No. 1 spot, while freshmenÂ
Kirsten Kosa andÂ
Annie Rakos won, 8-4 in the No. 2 spot.
Singles
Achenbach was a 6-2, 6-3 winner in the No. 2 flight, while Kosa won her 11th straight match, 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 3 flight. Rakos won 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 4 position, sophomoreÂ
Alex Rodier was a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 winner in the No. 5 flight, and seniorÂ
Sarah Chan won a hard fought match in the No. 6 spot, 6-4, 6-7 (3-7), 1-0 (15-13).
