Dallas, PA (April 6, 2019) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader at Misericordia by scores of 5-1 and 8-2 on Saturday afternoon.
Game One (L/1-5)
Misericordia took a 1-0 lead in the third inning and added four runs in the fifth as DeSales made five errors in the inning as the first four Cougar batters bunted leading to a 5-0 lead and DeSales never recovered.

Ian Kacergis suffered the loss allowing three earned runs over six innings. SeniorÂ
Charlie Barebo had two of DSU's six hits in the loss.
Game Two (L/2-8)
Misericordia scored four runs in each of the first and third innings, six of which were unearned, en route to an 8-1 lead and the Bulldogs were unable to mount a comeback.

Felix Martinez Jr. took the loss allowing two earned runs over 2 2/3 innings pitched. SeniorÂ
Nick White had two hits in the loss.
The Bulldogs are off on Sunday and right back to action on Monday when they host Montclair State University beginning at 5:00 pm.
