Center Valley, PA (April 9, 2019) - Three different pitchers combined to toss a one-hitter and the DeSales University baseball team hit six home runs leading the Bulldogs past the University of Scranton, 17-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Weiland Park.
Freshman 
Johnathan Pozniak earned the win carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning before allowing a hit on the first batter of the sixth inning, the lone hit of the game for the Royals.  Pozniak earned his first collegiate win and struck out four.  Freshman 
JJ Paul pitched two scoreless innings striking out four and freshman 
Zac Vittorelli tossed a scoreless ninth.
The Bulldogs offense built an early cushion scoring five times in the first, three times in the second, and six times in the third.
Senior 
Aaron Fritz hit two home runs, scored three times, and drove in four runs.  Junior 
Sergion Diaz was 3-for-3 witha grand slam, four RBIs and two runs scored.  Junior 
Alex Condello, freshman 
Robby Lamm, and junior 
Frank Licari Jr. also homered in the win.  Graduate student 
Tommy Epsaro and sophomore 
Brandon DiChiacchio also each had two hits to lead the offense.
DeSales returns to action on Thursday (NOTE DATE CHANGE) when they open the weekend three-game set with FDU-Florham at Weiland Park beginning at 4:00 pm.
