Center Valley, PA (April 9, 2019) - Three different pitchers combined to toss a one-hitter and the DeSales University baseball team hit six home runs leading the Bulldogs past the University of Scranton, 17-0, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Weiland Park.

Johnathan Pozniak earned the win carrying a no-hitter into the sixth inning before allowing a hit on the first batter of the sixth inning, the lone hit of the game for the Royals. Pozniak earned his first collegiate win and struck out four. FreshmanÂ
JJ Paul pitched two scoreless innings striking out four and freshmanÂ
Zac Vittorelli tossed a scoreless ninth.
The Bulldogs offense built an early cushion scoring five times in the first, three times in the second, and six times in the third.

Aaron Fritz hit two home runs, scored three times, and drove in four runs. JuniorÂ
Sergion Diaz was 3-for-3 witha grand slam, four RBIs and two runs scored. JuniorÂ
Alex Condello, freshmanÂ

Frank Licari Jr. also homered in the win. Graduate studentÂ

Brandon DiChiacchio also each had two hits to lead the offense.
DeSales returns to action on Thursday (NOTE DATE CHANGE) when they open the weekend three-game set with FDU-Florham at Weiland Park beginning at 4:00 pm.
