West Wyomissing, PA (May 4, 2019) - The DeSales University baseball team battled back from a loss in the morning game and a 5-3 and 6-5 deficit in the second game to split the action on day two of the MAC Freedom postseason tournament and advance to the championship game on Sunday.
The Bulldogs stay alive and will now face top seeded Misericordia University in the championship game on Sunday. DSU will need to defeat the Cougars twice in the double elimination format to win the MAC Freedom title and earn the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. Because of the forecast the first game on Sunday is now slated to begin at 4:00 pm at Owl's Field.
