Second-Half Tally Leads Women's Soccer past York (PA), 3-2

Box Score Center Valley, PA (September 14, 2019) – The DeSales University women's soccer team netted three goals in a late game thriller for a 3-2 win over York College (PA) in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

DSU scored first in the 20^th minute to take a 1-0 lead, and scored their second goal at 22:04.
The Spartans struck back quick with a goal at 22:24, and late in the first half at 43:23 to the send the game into halftime tied at two.
The Bulldogs broke through in the 69^th minute to take a one goal lead to provide the final tally.

Scoring goals for the Bulldogs were freshman Katie Padgett, freshman Allie Trick, and junior Rachel Medlar.
Freshman Meghan Foley, Sam Monteforte, and sophomore Meghan Corbran all had assists.
Junior Lia Gaccione made four saves in net.
