Center Valley, PA (September 22, 2019) - The DeSales University men's tennis team defeated Moravian College before falling to Muhlenberg College in non-conference matches on Sunday afternoon.

Match #1 (W/7-2 vs. Moravian)
The Bulldogs opened the match vs. the Greyhounds with wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles as freshman Will Pollick and sophomore Nolan Beck won 8-1 and senior Ahmad Kanan teamed with sophomore Brahm Buoy to win 8-1.

DSU then finished off the match winning five of the six singles matches.  Junior Danny Lynn led the way with a 6-0, 6-3 win in the No. 1 flight.

Freshman Mark Sherrill won 6-0 7-6 (7-2) in the No. 2 flight, Pollick was a 6-2, 6-0 winner in the No. 3 slot, and Beck won 6-4, 6-1 in the No. 4 spot.

Kanan rounded out the winners taking a 6-0, 6-0 decision in the final flight.

Match #2 (L/1-8 vs. Muhlenberg)
DSU earned just one point in the loss to the Mules in the second match of the day as Kanan and Buoy won, 8-7 (7-3) in the No. 3 doubles spot.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday, October 3rd when they host Alvernia University beginning at 3:30 pm.
