Chester, PA (September 24, 2019) - The DeSales University field hockey team dropped its fifth straight game falling at Widener University, 3-1, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened
  • After a scoreless first quarter, Widener got two goals in the second quarter to take a two-goal lead into halftime.
  • The Pride added another tally in the third quarter to lead by three heading into the final 15 minutes.
  • DSU got on the board with 6:28 left to play but were unable to find the back of the cage again.

  • Freshman Lead Echard scored DSU's goal, the first of her career.
