Center Valley, PA (September 28, 2019) - The DeSales University women's soccer team got goals from four different players rolling past Hood College, 4-1, in non-conference action on Homecoming Saturday.

The Basics

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs dominated play all afternoon opening the scoring just 8:14 into the game when freshman Allie Trick scored off a throw-in from sophomore Cassidy Klein.
• DSU added another in the 37th minute when senior Sophie Goad scored off a feed from Annie Brush as the Bulldogs took a two goal lead into the half.
• Freshman Tess Rodgers made it 3-0 in the 54th minute blasting a shot from about 25 yards out and senior Sydney Amato finished off the Bulldogs scoring with a goal in the 63rd minute.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Trick tallied her eighth of the season, while Goad, Rodgers, and Amato all scored their first goals of the year.
• In addition to Klein and Brush, Goad earned an assist on Amato's goal.

For the Foes

• Melissa Meritt scored Hood's lone goal and Michaela Provinzano had an assist.
• Lydia Erickson made 10 saves in goal for the Mules.

Inside the Box Score

• DeSales dominated the stat sheet owning a 31-5 advantage in shots and a 13-0 advantage in corner kicks.
