Radnor, PA (September 3, 2019) - The DeSales University men's soccer team saw late comeback fall just short in a 2-1 loss at Cabrini University in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

The Basics

How it Happened

• Neither team was able to find in the first-half or thru the first 15 minutes of the second-half before Cabrini broke thru.
• The Cavaliers got back-to-back tallies in the 61st and 64th minutes just 2:49 apart to take a 2-0 lead.
• DeSales was able to pull back within a goal with 3:13 to play but unable to find the tying tally in the road loss.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Freshman Anthony Contreras scored DSU's lone goal taking a long pass over the top from sophomore Kevin Kile to beat the Cavalier keeper late.
• Sophomore Nathan Hatzfeld made four saves in the loss.

For the Foes

• Cabrini got two goals from Matt Duddy.
• Christian Rafter and Dani Acevedo each had assists.
