Keba Mitchell scored a career-high 16 points leading the DeSales University men's basketball team to its eighth straight win, 79-57, over Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- After Delaware Valley took 2-0 and 4-2 leads it was all DeSales over the final 38 minutes of this game as an 11-0 run gave DSU a 13-4 lead at the 15:09 mark of the first-half.
- The lead swelled to 18 points (26-8) at the 7:59 mark and never went below double digits the rest of the game with DVU getting as close as 12 points once before two free throws from Mitchell gave the Bulldogs a 40-26 halftime lead.
- The lead dropped to 10 early in the second half but a 9-1 run pushed the margin back to 18 points with 14:36 to go and the Bulldogs cruised the rest of the way.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Mitchell shot 5-for-8 from the field and was a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line adding six rebounds and three blocks.
- Junior Matt Kachelries added 14 points and handed out seven assists.
- Senior Kweku Dawson-Amoah and junior Timmy Edwards each led the charge off the bench with 13 points and five boards.
For the Foes
- Mike Cianciulli had a team-high 12 points for the Aggies.
- Dwayne Caine Jr. finished with 10 points in the loss.
