Salisbury, MD (February 22, 2020) - The DeSales University softball team opened its 2020 season splitting a doubleheader dropping game one to Salisbury University before dropping take game two vs. Hood College on Saturday afternoon.
Game One (L/0-5 vs. Salisbury University)
The Bulldogs recorded just two hits as SU broke open a scoreless game in the fourth with three runs and added two in the sixth for the win.
Senior 
Erin Redden and freshman 
Lily Trexler had DSU's two hits in the loss.  Junior 
Julia Testagrose took the loss in the circle allowing two earned runs over four innings.
Game Two (W/3-1 vs. Hood College)
DSU took a 1-0 lead in the first on a double from junior 
Reilly Kerr and added two unearned runs in the fourth and fifth to take a 3-0 lead.
Sophomore 
Heather Hall did the rest allowing just one run and three hits over seven innings, striking out three.
Senior 
Alexa Marasheski had two hits and junior 
Hallie Muffley scored twice in the win.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow when they take on Salisbury and Hood once again.
